The Prime Law

Consciousness requires volition.
The individual mind must be free to observe, integrate, choose, create, trade, love, build, and act from direct contact with reality.
Initiated force breaks that process.
It replaces judgment with obedience.
It replaces creation with permission.
It replaces value with control.
It places an external command above the individual mind.
That is why initiated force is not merely a political issue. It is a civilizational issue.
A civilization organized around initiated force will eventually consume the consciousness that sustains it.
Not Politics. Architecture.
The Prime Law belongs to civilizational architecture.
The Prime Law is often misunderstood if read as a political slogan.
It is not a call for a better party.
It is not a request for better rulers.
It is not a reform inside the old structure.

What condition must exist for fully conscious human beings to live, create, trade, love, and build without being subordinated to force?
The answer is structural:
initiated force must be prohibited at the foundation.
The Application
We have the explanation. We have the correction. We have never had the application.
The Unified Field is the explanation: as force rises, civilization collapses; as force recedes, civilization soars.
The Prime Law is the correction: it states the one condition required to exit the pattern of collapse.
To exit that pattern of collapse, a civilization cannot merely admire the Prime Law. It must be designed around it.
That means governance exists to protect people from initiated force, fraud and coercion rather than to direct their lives from above. Every society on record has done some of the first and a great deal of the second.
The Prime Law is the law of humanity, yet no civilization has ever been built around it.
The Codification
America was the great experiment. Mark Hamilton proposes the next one.
The ideas in the Declaration of Independence came from the Enlightenment, which had them from the fragment of Aristotle's work that survived.
History had already run experiments at partial strength. Athens for a century. Florence in the 1400s. Amsterdam in the 1600s. Each loosened the constraint, and each produced output out of all proportion to its size.
None of them wrote the constraint into law. Each was a local condition rather than a stated principle, so each ended when the conditions did.
America was the first to write them into law. The Constitution of the United States codified them, and the codifying is what turned a philosophy into a country.
What it codified were Enlightenment principles rather than the law underneath them. Where that Constitution restrained force and divided it among branches, the Prime Law removes the initiation of force as a legitimate function of any of them. That is the difference between limiting a thing and ending it.

The Prime Law and the Individual
The Prime Law begins with the individual.
No institution belongs above the individual mind.
No authority has the right to sever man from his own judgment, values, labor, property, contracts, love, or life.
The purpose of the Prime Law is not to isolate the individual.
It is to protect the conditions under which the individual can live fully: thinking, creating, trading, loving, healing, building, and pursuing happiness without initiated force standing above him.
